You may notice a strong urge to power down your devices, sit quietly with a cup of coffee or glass of wine, and cancel all your plans. Relax, and enjoy the slowness. Tasmania’s East Coast is known for its mild weather, but the climate is also unpredictable. The elements are in charge here; we recommend coming prepared for cold, wind, rain, and sun. Some experiences, as well as boat transfers to and from the island, may need to be rescheduled or canceled. Embrace the surprises.

We work with nature and the elements to source the necessary power (solar), water (rain catchment), and ingredients (Tassie local whenever possible) to make your stay unforgettable.
