Stays can be as activity-packed or as unhurried as you wish. Choose from experience options such as vineyard and distillery tours, marine discovery on the private boat, hiking adventures, oyster farm visits, or simply remain present on Picnic Island in quiet relaxation. Every booking includes a wide selection of experiences, all meals prepared by a private chef with exceptional local ingredients, concierge service, and transport on and off the island. A selection of Tasmanian wines, spirits, and snacks is also included.

Experiences are included with your stay, and all have been curated to respond to the level of activity guests desire. On any given day, they can be as action-packed, culinary, or as contemplative as guests wish.
How to get here
Picnic Island is around two and a half hours by road from Hobart and Launceston airports. Alternatively, a seaplane or helicopter is a 30-minute flight from Hobart. All allow for the dramatic unfolding of the Tasmanian landscape. From the shore, it’s a 10-minute trip in our custom-built boat.
